This sub-project seeks to explore how dissemination, translation, subtitling and/ or dubbing of television series generate certain cultural adaptations and what effect this has on the socio-cultural meaning of the series. In addition, this sub- project raises the fundamental question
of dealing with digital sources such as television series: would it be possible to design a method to store and analyse large quantities of television drama?
