We say Goodbye to 2020 by presenting you the last MIDA film for this year. Our ESR Mustafa Colak´s presentation about his research topic aims to explain the social, economic, and political dimensions of Ottoman-themed state-sponsored TV series broadcasted by the Turkish state channel. He specifically focused on the two most popular TV serials "Diriliş Ertuğrul" and "Payitaht Abdulhamid."
